Nevim jak s lineary ale obvykle se prave s ohledem na mnozstvi prachu pri brouseni voli reseni s pneumatickymi lozisky ci jak se to cesky vlastne jmenuje. i will made a spindle with MT3 (in german its called MK3)
- thats not sure until now ... But i have yestersay taken and read a lot of articles about air bearing and HowTo here is my 2nd attemp with very great result

the complet bush - outer diameter 30mm - inner dia 25mm - width 13mm bore 0,3mm (in front you see the drill)

inside of the bush I use a mill like a small t-groove-mill, diameter 10mm, width 1mm
and just pushed at every hole in with a depth of 0,4mm there are 2x 12 holes - arranged at 30degrees and offset of 15degrees beetwen both series i made such a lot of holes because newest designs of air bearing use porous materials for the bushing and next to porous are a lot of holes (i think) unfortunately i don't have a dril less than 0,3mm - so i reduce the number
original i planned 48 holes in 4 series - but i think the air will hamper itsself at so much through passing air and now you can watch a small video (be aware - its very big - i'm short in time to reconvert it)

at a pressure of 1 atm the spindle will become "weightless" and can be
pulled very easy at 2,5 atm it will start rotating without external input
and all with the heavy drill clamp (or however its called) - thats what i want
The pressure in the video was between 1 and 3 atm overall length of the tube containing the bushes was 80mm - therefore i will made a new toolholder - incr. length And what was a disadvantage: the tolerance between spindle an bushing was normally very small - therefore the kind of fitting in the tube wasn't beneficial.
When i made the right bearing i will glue the bushes and the tolerance can
stay below 0,02mm (now extended to nearly 0,04mm)
