Hello guys,

My name is Jens, from the Netherlands. I am an 21 year old student precision engineering, and just bought my first TOS FN25 Milling machine.

I hope someone of you can help me! To make something good of this machine, i have to repaint it, scrape some surfaces, reinstall the elektronics. It would be a nice project, but i don't have any information or exploded vieuws about this machine. Does somebody here have a manual or exploded vieuw of these type of machines?

After some research with google translate, i did found out that user: Aleshonsa from this site has a German user manual of the FN22, i think that would be a great step in the right direction. I cant contact him, because of the bad translations of this site by Google Translate, but maybe he will read this topic!

I somebody has some information, project reports, pictures, anything, about this machine, please contact!

here https://store.lathes.co.uk/print/mt201nrt" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; you can get German version of the manual. I know, It is £55.00 without P&P, but maybe it is worth it. I suppose getting the manual directly from the TOS would be for the +- same price.

Thanks for the reply's! Very helpful. Robokop has found some interesting files in 4 minutes, and i'm looking for 3 weeks to them

55£ Is a bit ''too much'' to pay without to know whats inside the file I am especially looking for some (detailled) exploded vieuws, so i can see how some parts are mounted.

The first owner of this machine has left the table in the automatic feed, and went away to get a cup of coffee i guess, the whole spindle mountingplate (at the handwheel side) is broken

I would like to invite you as a new member here, in our metalworking forum. Unfortunatelly discussions here are mainly in the Czech language. But I think if you have questions, do not hesitate to ask here
Your type of a mill machine, FN 25, with her sister FN 22 is the most wanted mill machine for home ( in the garage ) using in CZ. I thing everybody from this forum wants to have it at home, having an appropriate place for it.
Enjoy your machine and let us know the process of repairing etc. of this machine and how you are satisfied with it. A.

Just removed some cover plates, 35kgs each, just to cover the electro motor. what a weight! .

If someone has more information, or pictures, i am still interested. Also looking for some original TOS accessoires!

Still not given up

In the past few months i have cleaned and repaired lots of parts of the TOS FN25.

The trapezodial spindle of the Y axis was hard to remove out of the Z- console, but after making some tools i did made it to remove the spindle without demolish some things..

As you can see, there are lots of accessoiry for the TOS FN25 machine, and i cant find anything here in the Netherlands for sale. Maybe in your country there are more parts and accessoiry for sale for these machines. I am interested in everything Please contact me if someone have got a nice addon for my machine.
