Zdravím z Melbourne v Austrálii. Omlouvám se, pokud překlad na deepl.com není dobrý. Doufám, že mi budete rozumět.

Jsem v závěrečné fázi "restaurování" S28. Níže přidám pár obrázků. Rozebral jsem ho, vyčistil a natřel a opravil, co jsem viděl, že je potřeba opravit. Dalším krokem je jeho používání a uvidíme, zda něco potřebuje opravit / renovace pak.

Nyní je vše zpět dohromady, naplnil jsem novým olejem, ale olej není čerpán. Olejové čerpadlo funguje - vyzkoušel jsem ho před rozebráním stroje. Také motor se točí správným směrem. Olej je na vodorovné čáře v průhledítku.

Asi musím nějak naplnit olejové čerpadlo olejem, aby se netočilo na vzduch. (?).

Jak mám olejové čerpadlo předehřát a naplnit olejem?

Now it is all back together I have filled with new oil but the oil is not being pumped. The oil pump does work - I tested it before I stripped the machine. Also, the motor is spinning in the correct direction. The oil is at the horizontal line in the sight glass.

I guess I need to somehow fill the oil pump with oil so it does not spin on air. (?).

How do I prime the oil pump and fill it with oil?

so I haven't had a problem with the oil pump yet, but I'll try to give some advice within the scope of my knowledge.
I think the gear pump is self-priming, so it should suck the oil itself. If this is not the case, then I would try to unscrew the discharge pipe (marked by an arrow in the picture) and deliver oil to the resulting opening in the pump, and by manually turning the pump drive - in the opposite direction than the correct direction, try to get oil into the suction pipe. Then test whether oil is flowing from the pump discharge by briefly starting the engine. So I assume that the suction basket on the suction pipe is not clogged.
Hopefully it will be understandable after using google translate.

tak s olejovým čerpadlem jsem ještě problém neměl, ale pokusím se v rámci mých znalostí trochu poradit.
Myslím si, že zubové čerpadlo je samonasávací, takže by si mělo olej samo nasát. Pokud tomu tak není, tak bych zkusil odšroubovat výtlačnou trubku (na obrázku označena šipkou) a do vzniklého otvoru v čerpadle dopravovat olej a ručním otáčením pohonu čerpadla - opačným směrem než je správný směr se snažit dostat olej do sací trubky. Pak vyzkoušet krátkým spuštěním motoru zda z výtlaku čerpadla teče olej. Předpokládám tedy, že sací koš na sací trubce není ucpaný.
Snad to bude po použití překladače Google srozumitelné.

Nakonec jsem to včera večer vyřešil. Zdá se, že čerpadlo se samo napouští. Co jsem dělal špatně, byl příliš pomalý chod motoru. Mám ho na VFD a běžel asi na 1/3 až 1/2 otáčky. Nechtěl jsem běžet na plné otáčky bez čerpání oleje. Tak trochu situace "slepice a vejce".

Rozběhl jsem ho rychleji a začal čerpat poměrně rychle.

I did end up resolving this last night. The pump does seem to be self priming. What I was doing wrong was running the motor too slow. I have it on a VFD and was running it at about 1/3 to 1/2 speed. I didn't want to run at full speed without oil being pumped. Kind of a "chicken and egg" situation.

I ran it faster and it starting pumping fairly quickly.
